Join Campers from around the world and discover different organic and regenerative farming techniques, including biointensive gardening, compost making, seed-saving, and tree-planting.

ABOUT THE CAMP

The Via Organica Ranch is a working model of how to transform once degenerated farmland and pastureland. The working ranch in the semi-arid highlands of Mexico now produces delicious organic vegetables, herbs, fruits, seeds, and animal products for the Via Organica restaurant, farmers market, and food store in the local town of San Miguel de Allende.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You can expect a beautiful campsite that has been established over ten years, complete with adobe cabins, a large regenerative food growing operation, showers, toilets, a kitchen and a learning centre. The land is in a degraded, desertifying state, but is being revegetated and restored by the Camp Via Organica team.

Campers will enjoy three nutritious, locally sourced, organic meals per day, with the chance to learn about Mexican culture and to visit other regenerative projects in the area. All lessons are taught by highly talented teachers, skilled in regenerative agricultural techniques.

Camp Via Organica Reviews

My experience at Camp Via Organica was an uplifting, educational and enlightening with an awesome mix of learning and doing while making new friends. The Via Organica team took great care of us and served up amazing organic meals. The shared accommodations were comfortably rustic and exceeded my expectations”.

My week spent at ERC’s debut affiliate camp, Via Organica, was incredibly stimulating and informative. Aside from giving me much needed hands-on time with nature, the workshops were thorough, the food delicious and the other participants were lovely. A real inspiration – thank you!

My experience at Via Organica was not only an amazing learning experience rich with information about regenerative farming and living practices, but rich with the culture, hospitality, and overall buena onda of Mexico. The camp is an educational program and a retreat as well, with delicious, all organic, homemade Mexican dishes cooked daily and the most comfortable sleeping you can imagine on a farm. My time there is a priceless memory I will never forget. Thank you for some of the best times of my life!
